2009 Event Program

This years Newcastle & Hunter Region Road Transport Awareness day will be held on Sunday 1st November, 2009.

The Convoy will depart Sandgate Fruit Markets site at 9.30am en route, under police escort, into the Sensational Newcastle Harbour Foreshore for parking and display purposes.

The Foreshore will already be alive with the vast landscape filled with trade display sites, vendors, kids’ rides and entertainment.

NRMA Mobile Member Centre - The NRMA Safer Driving School will be onsite along with a purpose built road safety education semi trailer and Subaru support vehicle.

Sky Lift – Have you ever wondered how the world would look from a bird’s eye view? We will have the opportunity of a life time available for you to harness up and experience the awesome sights from 80metres up in the air.

Face Painting – artists will be onsite to assist in transformation into fantasy

Children’s Rides – There will be pony rides, jumping castles + more.

ARMY – The Australian Army Transport Unit has confirmed attendance
