Trucks
Up to 200 big rigs converge at the Sandgate Fruit Markets, creating an awesome sight, in preparation for formation of the convoy. The route takes this massive line-up, under police escort, along the highway, via Mayfield, Islington and Hunter St, through to the east end of Newcastle and Newcastle’s Foreshore. The trucks are then parked in formation for the judging of the various award categories and public display. Read our Truckies_Top_Ten_Tips.
